“Your Countenance is showing”

Our countenance reveals on our outside what is going on in the inside, and
no matter how we try, it will be seen.
There are all kinds of things that our countenance reveals:
if we are angry of heart that anger is seen,
if we are harsh of heart that harshness is seen,
if we are bitter of heart that bitterness is seen,
if we are sorrowful of heart that sorrow is seen,
if there is uncleanness and impurity in our heart it will also be seen upon
our face.
On the other hand, if there is joy in our heart there will also be joy on
our face,
if there is sweetness in our heart there will be sweetness on our face,
and finally if there is spiritual cleanness in our heart our faces will
reveal a pureness and cleanness.
Thus a spiritual beauty comes forth from the person we see, for you see
there is no beauty like the beauty that comes from God, you can by the world’s
resources dye your hair, cut your hair, and use the best provided makeup but
only God’s beauty of a meek and quiet spirit gives forth real beauty.
This is something that the world just does not seem to understand, but the
body of Christ sees it and understands it.
